Tea on Tuesday 11

This week I made my first attempt at making

I used Barefoot Contessa (Ina Gartens) Coconut Madeleines
recipe and it was YUMMY!
I bought the pan at a cake decorating shop

Here is the first batch, a little to brown but still tasty.
They smelled so good baking!

Here is the next batch....just right!

I also made some chocolate covered strawberries
(you know I needed something healthy)
to go along with these delicious cookies.....

Here is the finished sweet treats!
My tea of choice with this was
double bergamot-earl grey made by Stash
and what a treat it was!
Please visit some more tea-on Tuesday friends Here!
Happy Tea Day!

  1. Wow, Donna. Even though I don't eat coconut, these look really good (minus the coconut of course). Have a great tea Tuesday.

  2. Yep! That second batch does look perfect! Cute cup! I am having earl grey green tea at the moment with some sugar cookies. Yum! Best wishes, Tammy

  3. Oh my, they look fabulous (bet they taste fabulous too)and you are such a clever woman... brown the first ones so you have to eat them and then make another batch!! ;) and you have one fo your five a day to go along with it so it must be healthy!! LOL Happy Tea Tuesday!!

  4. Beautiful Tea Time :) this is such a great way to enjoy all the goodies and not gain an ounce! Have a wonderful day!

  5. your madeleines look like they came all the way over from France! those are hard to make - I know it for a fact, because my aunt makes them for every get together and they seem to always be a little black on the edges (don't tell!)

your tea sounds really special too - I'll bet it makes the whole room smell wonderful! I love that bergamot scent!

  6. I LOVE madeleines - I get them from Costco - but yours look much yummier!!! May have to try that recipe!!!

  7. Those are lovely...but I have to admit you had me with the mug. Chocolate! I have a real love/hate relationship with it.
    I am allergic.
    Milk chocolate gives me acne.
Dark chocolate, the 70% cacao and up makes me sneeze.
But what do I do...eat at least one square a day of the 70% and up good stuff...then sneeze at my head off for a few minutes. Totally worth it. :)

  8. As a friend of mine reamrked, 'Those will go to waist and not waste'. LOL! They look delicious, Donna. I've not heard of that tea, but it sound like a good accommpiment :o)
    God bless your day.

  9. OMYGOODNESS, they look sooo yummy.
Signing up to follow a fella sistah...:))

  10. CONGRATULATIONS DONNA for being featured on Bloggerette Sorority. It is wonderful to have a Bloggerette Sister but even more a Sister in our Lord JESUS Christ. HE IS who I am also.
How awesome to have to have a husband as a worship pastor.
I wish I could reach through that screen and eat one of those fancy coconut Madelines...I have never had one before....they look sooooo very yummy. I love tea so I am going to learn alot from you.
