Tea on Tuesday 11

This week I made my first attempt at making
Madeleines

I used Barefoot Contessa (Ina Gartens) Coconut Madeleines
recipe and it was YUMMY!
I bought the pan at a cake decorating shop

Here is the first batch, a little to brown but still tasty.
They smelled so good baking!

Here is the next batch....just right!

I also made some chocolate covered strawberries
(you know I needed something healthy)
to go along with these delicious cookies.....

Here is the finished sweet treats!
My tea of choice with this was
double bergamot-earl grey made by Stash
and what a treat it was!
Please visit some more tea-on Tuesday friends Here!
Happy Tea Day!

  1. Wow, Donna. Even though I don't eat coconut, these look really good (minus the coconut of course). Have a great tea Tuesday.

  5. your madeleines look like they came all the way over from France! those are hard to make - I know it for a fact, because my aunt makes them for every get together and they seem to always be a little black on the edges (don't tell!)

your tea sounds really special too - I'll bet it makes the whole room smell wonderful! I love that bergamot scent!

  7. Those are lovely...but I have to admit you had me with the mug. Chocolate! I have a real love/hate relationship with it.
    I am allergic.
    Milk chocolate gives me acne.
Dark chocolate, the 70% cacao and up makes me sneeze.
    Seriously.
But what do I do...eat at least one square a day of the 70% and up good stuff...then sneeze at my head off for a few minutes. Totally worth it. :)
