Pumpkin Time

Well, here it is pumpkin time again and I am so excited! I LOVE anything pumpkin (except cold pumpkin soup!)  I really want to put together a cook book all about pumpkin.....sigh......one day, I hope. I recently made a double batch of pumpkin bread and used the most amazing pan, I borrowed it from my dear friend Sue (she got it from her husband for their anniversary) It came from WILLIAMS-SONOMA  It made the most beautiful loaf of pumpkin bread I have ever seen!  The detail is amazing and it popped right out of the pan! I was amazed
(even though it don't take much to amaze me) it really was awesome!

So I just wanted to share the beginning of my months of pumpkin. Today I am sitting down to a cup of Earl Grey tea and a delicious slice of sweet moist pumpkin bread!
What are your favorite sweets for fall?

I Would love to hear from YOU!

 Hello friends!
Hope everyone is doing well!
I had a little summer tea I wanted
to share with all of you.

I made cold Chicken Pasta Salad in bread bowls,
and served Earl Grey Tea in the basket weave white teacups
and Pink Lemonade in martini glasses
with sprinkles around the rim.

I also made Chocolate Chip scones that were just wonderful!
The party favors were so cute! I got the idea from
I put 2 thumbprint cookies with blackberry jam inside
the yellow check gingham (large teabag.)

Each guest had a button bouquet that would make anyone smile!
I saw the idea on Pinterest Here
I did mine a little different; I doubled my wire and added
shiny beads to the stem and center of the flower.
This was so fun! Hope you did something fun this week too!

Tea-on-Tuesday June 19 2012

Hello my friends!
This is my new teacup! It is so sweet! I bought it at a
Royal Albert store in Texas, the pattern is called Polka Rose.

I made some Lemon Tea Cakes in those tiny tins
that you find in antique stores. I now have quite the collection
of them from yard sales and friends.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful
Tea-on Tuesday!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you that played any a part in a child's life! You don't have to give birth to be a mom. Sometimes we just need to be the person a child can depend on and be there when needed. Hope you have a fabulous day!

Hello my friends! My tea on Tuesday is (strong) Black tea!
I have been crazy busy! A lot has happened
in the month of February and it looks like March will be
much of the same. I've been tea dyeing tons of lace for
swaps and projects. I'm participating in some great swaps in
March too!
My job is coming to an end in April *sad face here* the
positive side is, I will have more time to work on my
tea party business. One exciting thing this month is, we are moving
my sewing room from downstairs to upstairs at the end of the
month. I need a change and more room.
Hope all of you are doing well and enjoying a great cup of
tea on Tuesday!

Happy TEA on TUESDAY!

Hello my friends!
Hope all of you are excited to start a new year!
I am still in shock when I look back and realize how fast this year has gone,
so many things happened to our family this year, some good, some not so good.
I always find it interesting how our plans are not always God plans.
I don't know what will take place this year, but I do know whatever it may be,
I will try to face it with a sense of humor, grace, and lots of tea!

Right before Christmas, our Quilting group met for our yearly
Christmas celebration. At our November meeting we were all given
the same piece of fabric (a fat eighth) and our instructions were to use it in a
gift we were to make for the gift exchange at our party.
Below is my piece which I made into a pocket for a reversible apron
that I made as my gift.

Here is just a sample of some of the AWESOME
items that were made!

Here is my apron and the person (Cathy) who recieved
it. Mine is the green one.
Here is another person that received an apron.
I just loved the creativity of these amazing ladies,
we always have such a great time!
I know I did not talk about tea today and it IS
Tea on Tuesday (sorry.) but I did have a wonderful
cup of Marco Polo while I was posting this!
Happy Tea day!
