Iced Tea & Art Stuff

What a crazy month it has been so far!

Happy Tea Day!
Happy Tea-Day!
Just unpacked some tea pots and tea cups; I need to
do a pot count!
These are for a dear friend's tea party in August.
We have been collecting these for almost a year now.
I have posted pics of her tea parties in the past.
My dear friend Jenny has ovarian cancer, she is 76.
Every year she calls this her "going away" tea-
this is our 4th year.
The Good Lord has shown such mercy.
She plans to invite 60 ladies this year so we are
short 15 pansy or violet cups & saucers.
We put the word out....
Hope we can find some in time;
if not, we will make do.
I'm going to just enjoy the time with my friend.

Spring has Sprung!

I found this cup at Goodwill a few years ago.
It is very delicate but I love to use it!
I just adore any teacup & saucer with roses on it!
I think I only paid $2.50 for it!
It's so sweet don't ya think?
These beautiful strawberries were so
tasty! I had them for breakfast with my tea!

Tuesday Tea in April
Hello!
Its Tuesday!
We are beginning to see some SpRiNg around here!
Still chilly but the brown grass is getting just
a tiny bit greener every day!
This week I was on a cleaning spree.....
We finished the bathroom we've been working on for a year,
so I thought I better get on the ball with the rest of the house;
not to mention we were about to have a house full of company- LOL.
I drank many pots of tea this week and I used a different teacup
each day (bringing out the good stuff!).
Here I'm drinking Earl Grey Cream (delicious!)
in the cast iron pot I received for Christmas
from my hubby.
I received this Foley teacup & saucer from a swap a couple of
years ago; it is so dainty and sweet!
You can barely tell but it is slightly octagon in shape.

Waiting on Spring
Hello!
Hope you are having beautiful sunshine where you live!
We are having a spring SNOW! (frowny face)
This has been a very long winter for me, I don't think
I have ever been this cold. I've drank a lot of tea this winter
and it has helped keep me warm (a little.) LOL
This is a pattern I have been working on soon to
be in my up and coming Etsy store.
Oh by the way I am drinking Black Tea today
with milk! This cute mug came from TJ Max and it
keeps my tea very warm!

Hello FRIENDS!
I am back!
My computer is back up and going again as well as my blog;
all things new again, yippeeeee!
I have had many tea parties and made lots of projects in the time we have been apart, so I will be sharing some of them with you in the next couple of weeks.
Hope all of you are doing well, we are still waiting for Spring around here....
Sure hope we see some signs of it soon, it has been a long harsh winter.
In the up coming weeks, I will be having a tea cozy give away!
