Tuesday Tea in April

Its Tuesday!
We are beginning to see some SpRiNg around here!
Still chilly but the brown grass is getting just
a tiny bit greener every day!
This week I was on a cleaning spree.....
We finished the bathroom we've been working on for a year,
so I thought I better get on the ball with the rest of the house;
not to mention we were about to have a house full of company- LOL.
I drank many pots of tea this week and I used a different teacup
each day (bringing out the good stuff!).

Here I'm drinking Earl Grey Cream (delicious!)
in the cast iron pot I received for Christmas
from my hubby.

I received this Foley teacup & saucer from a swap a couple of
years ago; it is so dainty and sweet!
You can barely tell but it is slightly octagon in shape.
Hope you have a wonderful (tea drinking) week!
Please join me this week at-
 Tea Cup Tuesday

  1. I love Foley Cups and Saucers. That is hand painted by the way - I had one just like it that I sold at my shop. It is lovely! Sounds like great progress at your house!

  2. Love your teacup! So pretty! Hope the company was all good fun and not too stressy or tiring...

  3. Hello Donna,
That is a sweet Foley you are sharing today! The coloring is fab, and the octagonal shape very nice too.
Congratulations on finishing your bathroom! Yay!

  4. Earl Grey is my favorite and what a sweet tea cup to enjoy with your tea.

  5. What a lovely teacup! Such a precious keepsake of friendship. I have never tried a warmer, but am tempted after seeing yours as yours looks sturdy with that heavy pot. I am a bit of a klutz so I never tired. Earl grey is my favorite tea!
    Thanks for sharing!

  6. Good morning Donna,
What a sweet teacup! The polka dots give it a fanciful appearance. Sounds like you've had a very productive year. Thank you for sharing this at Tea Time and have a beautiful day.

  7. Beautiful cup and saucer with the sweet flowers and it just sings Spring! The tea pot and warmer are will keep you tea the perfect temperature. I'm glad you completed your new bathroom plus having your guests to visit! Have a great week!

  8. Love the tea cup. Swaps are so fun. Have a great week. Blessings, Martha

  9. Your Foley teacup is pretty, and your hubby bought you a very nice teapot.

  10. Hi Donna,
Your Foley teacup is lovely. I like Tetsubin teapots.... they stay warm! Happy Tea Day!

  11. What a pretty Foley teacup, and I'm sure it's fun to use it alongside such a great gift from your husband too!
